BIOGRAPHY
Background
With two champions in his Pedigree his background is well rounded with focus on breed standard, and on temperment. We chose this dog based on much research and numerous phone calls and inquiries with breaders thoughout Western Canada and the North-West USA.

Professional Summary
- Spring 1997 imported to Canada.
- Autumn 1999: Achieves CKC Canadian Championship Status.
- October 2000: Achieves CKC CDX Obedience Status.
- Present: Working on CKC Utility designation.
About Him
As a conformation dog, he was and still is patient and good on the table. He has been complimented on his coat and pigment by many experts. His gate and stride are excellent, and is definitely a dog with very few flaws. He was finished by Teri Taplin of Canine Quarters. Thanks Teri.

In his obedience trials he races through each task with amazing enthusiasm. He could jump one and a half the height that they give him, and he usually carreens over the jumps with ease and zest. We also train him with Canine Quarters, with Lynne and Lee.
He LOVES water. He is a fantastic retriever, and water field trials may be what we do next. Week-ends in the summer he loves to spend fetching floating objects from the lake. He has great hunting instinct and loves to shake up anything that is retrieved. He has excellent indication abilities with his stance and snout. He has a great nose, and can track and find objects with ease.
We have two young children that he is very very gentle with. He is gentle with anything, and has a soft mouth such that he still plays with the toys that we got him at 6 months old! One Christmas, he accidentally snagged a glass ball off of the christmas tree on his ear. He merely walked over to me in the next room, and stood next to me requesting removal.
I have never seen such an intellegent dog. Not only his ability to learn, but his general manner, and communication abilities are fantastic. We talk to him like a human, and he gives us the same respect in return.
